In early 2009 Edward Kent recruited Susan Payetta to edit his collection of stories and to record further material as "oral histories." Unfortunately, Edward did not live to see the project completed as he passed away in May of that year.

   

Sail Rock Publishing was created to get Edward's book into print. Alice Besson and Dominic Besson at Paria Publishing in Trinidad produced the cover design and interior layout, and with financial assistance from the Kent family, Up Before Dawn was published posthumously.
